Description
Casillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon is wine that is of persistently high-quality, with a lush tantalizing mix of different grape varieties. The name Casillero del Diablo which translates to The Devils Cellar was born from a rumor which the founder of Viña Concha y Toro commenced when he discovered his recipe was being stolen. In order to preserve his sales secret, he cleverly came up with the rumour that the Devil lived in his cellar which led to the name. Made from the sensational Cabernet Sauvignon purple wine grapes of Chile, the Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon has an excessive coloration of ruby crimson. Aged in barrels of American oak, it has scents of cassis, plums, and cherries with the coffee and toast notes coming from the barrel aging.
It is medium-bodied, with an aftertaste of berry and ripe fruit. As an award-winning Sauvignon from Chile’s No. 1 wine brand, it’s Cassis and black cherry flavours are complimented by using tips of coffee and darkish chocolate. This wine makes for a fantastic combo when filled down with pink meat. It also pairs nicely with nutty difficult cheeses. There are about 120kCal per bottle Buy this red wine at adiba.com.
