Description
Lindeman’s Sweet Red is Sweet Red is light red in colour, features aromas of strawberry fruits, with a hint of musk, whilst the palate is fresh with berry fruit flavours wrapped up in a luscious sweet finish. The sweetest type of wine is Lindeman’s Sweet Red – it has the highest amount of residual sugar. The sweetest type of non-grape wine, is mead (wine made from honey, not grapes).
It was founded in 1843 by Henry Lindeman who planted its first vines in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. This original vineyard no longer exists, and the winery now has vineyards in South Australia (Barossa Valley and Coonawarra), in Pathaway and at Karadoc in Victoria, near Red Cliffs. Lindeman’s Bin 46 Sweet Red is light red in color, features aromas of strawberry fruits, with a hint of musk, whilst the palate is fresh with berry fruit flavour wrapped up in a luscious sweet finish.
