Martell Blue Swift

The Martell family has been producing great cognacs that generations have enjoyed since 1715 with the Swift as its icon. Martell Blue Swift is the first-ever spirit drink made of Martell VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) which is matured in French Oak casks and then finished in Kentucky Bourbon casks. Martells exclusive distillation process which is free of impurities allows it to absorb the rich aromatic tones from the bourbon cask. This results in Martells signature style that is characterized by notes of plum and candied fruit. Added to this are toasted oak and vanilla derived from bourbon casks. It has an elegant coppery colour with golden glints and is remarkably smooth, with a unique character and rounded taste. Cognac is a kind of brandy that emanates from the town of Cognac in France. It is often drunk neat using a snifter glass which, when held the right way, provides warmth to the drink. It is also a base for many delicious cocktails.
