Our well-balanced Observatory 20Y has aged for 20 years in Scotland in re-char bourbon barrels and sherry barrels to develop its smooth and silky roundness, that makes this a very drinkable whisky with a decent amount of complexity to appeal to any afficionado. The Observatory 20 years old Single Grain Whisky is perfectly balanced. It reveals sweet notes of vanilla and buttery toffee, combined with fruity touches of ripe summer berries with a zest of lemo. It is a Single Grain whisky aged 100% Bourbon cask that leaves a unique and full-bodied grain on the palate.
Former Sherry Casks and freshly toasted Oak Casks are used – the result is a mouth-filling, very soft Single Grain Whisky from the Scottish Speyside.
Taste: mouth-filling and soft in taste – clear notes of ripe grapes, add the vanilla and some cane sugar again
Finish: warm and surprisingly dry with one slightly spicy note
