Unveiled in 2018, the Chivas Regal XV edition is a premium blended Scotch whiskey that has been aged for a minimum of 15 years and selectively finished in casks that previously held Grande Champagne Cognac. Thanks to these old casks and the careful maturation period, the flavour of this 15-year-old Scotch whisky then undergoes a transformative process into a stunningly delicious potpourri of fruity flavours harmoniously blended with subtle nuances of butterscotch. Chivas believes that blended is better, in life and Scotch. As a tradition of the house, every Chivas Regal Scotch whisky has its own distinct formula and undergoes a careful selection of many matured whiskies, giving them their own unique character, flavour, and taste expression. Chivas’ strong belief in blending was instilled by its founding brothers, James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending in 19th century Scotland.
