Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey.
Don Julio is particularly proud of this limited-edition Añejo, and rightfully so: “I established my first tequila distillery in 1942 and to commemorate that very special year, I have created Don Julio 1942 a unique and limited edition, I personally selected the stock for this new release. Its golden line and perfect clarity I find appealing and a testament to its purity.”
This limited-edition anejo has warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave flavours lead into a smooth, lingering taste of oak and apple. It has a rich vanilla finish for a luxurious tequila recognized by connoisseurs around the globe.
Aged in small batches for 2 and a half years in ex American oak barrels, Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila is made with 100% Blue Weber Agave Plant that is ready for any celebration. Simply serve neat in a snifter or on the rocks for a classic and simple drink.
The oak barrels hold no more than 600 liters of tequila at a time and must be a certain type for Don Julio to use them.
