Description
Lysa Pinot Gris wine, the name lysacomes from the Old Norse which means “to bring in the light; to proclaim.” The grapes for this first vintage came from a vineyard in Stellenbosch’s Vlottenberg, with gravelly sand top soil and granite beneath. Natural fermentation was allowed, like with all of Guillaume’s other wines, with no yeasts introduced. The wine spent another 4 months sur lie after fermentation, with no wood used at all. visit our website to know more about this drink
Lysa Pinot Gris wine has a great flavor concentration, from luscious stone fruit to sweet earthy veggies with a hint of nutmeg. Aromas of luscious, juicy white melon, lemons, wet chalk, lanolin, and gravel are restrained in this pale gold wine. The wine has a lovely mix of fruit and freshness, as well as a long finish. Natural fermentation with no addition of yeast or nutrients. Unoaked and 4 months lees contact.
Great concentration of flavours, from delicious stone fruit to sweet earthy vegetables and a touch of nutmeg. The wine shows a beautiful balance of fruit and freshness with a remarkable long finish
