Maison Castel Cabernet 2020 is Made from a blend of wines produced by a traditional fermentation and a thermo-vinification. We are seeking to achieve a balance between fruit and structure, which will bring out the finest expression of the grape variety. Maison Castel is a range of wines from all the French wine regions for an exhaustive representativeness of the savoir-faire of the Castel Frères company, in the three colours, in still and sparkling wines.
TASTING NOTES Bright purple color, with aromas of black fruits and sweet spices such as vanilla, intense and velvety on the palate with richness and persistent aftertaste of black fruits. PAIRING Ideal with red meats, grilled meats, beef with red sauce, cold cuts and ripe cheeses. Known for its thick skin, resistance to elements and ease of growth, Cabernet Sauvignon can be found in many regions around the world. This highly regarded grape variety was bred from Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc sometime in the 17th century in the region of Bordeaux. the ideal serving temperature for a cabernet sauvignon wine is going to be around 60-degrees Fahrenheit, but Austin Hope likes to suggest serving it at 57-58 degrees for the best flavor.
