The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character. Introduced in mid-2018, the Triple Cask range takes the place of Fine Oak in the Macallan stable. This expression is made exclusively with whisky aged for at least 15 years in a combination of European sherry seasoned casks, American sherry seasoned casks and American ex-bourbon casks.
