William Lawson’s is a blended Scotch whisky brand created in 1849 and belonging to Bacardi Limited. Is distilled and blended in the Macduff distillery alongside the Glen Deveron single malt whisky since the distillery was acquired by William Lawson Distillers Ltd in 1972. William Lawson, MLC (2 June 1774 – 16 June 1850) was a British soldier, explorer, land owner, grazier and politician who migrated to Sydney, New South Wales in 1800. Along with Gregory Blaxland and William Wentworth, he pioneered the first successful crossing of the Blue Mountains by British colonists.William Lawsons’ Tasting Notes

Nose: On the nose, it has the aromas of creamy barley malt and sweet spice, oak, cocoa butter, and dried peels.

Palate: It tastes of allspice, raisin and date, toasted oak, and hints of the walnut loaf which astound your palate. It has a bold and big fruity flavour with toasted cereal, a dollop of chewy toffee, and a hint of juicy apple.

Finish: It has a malty and toasted finish with hints of pepper. Generally, it is a rounded and creamy malt blend.  A unique, high-end whiskey with beautiful notes of fruit, oak, caramel, and honey.
